To qualify as a ProMover, movers must pass a rigorous review of business standards and past conduct and agree to abide by the AMSA (American Moving and Storage Association) and CMSA (California Moving and Storage Association) Code of Ethics. All Reasons Moving is among a select group of California household goods movers to be certified by the CMSA for our commitment to professional, ethical business practices and quality customer service.
The ProMover certification was launched as a part of a consumer protection program. Companies who qualify for the certification must uphold ethical and honest business practices. ProMover is designed to fight fraud by giving consumers an easy way to separate reputable, professional movers from con artists out to make a quick buck at their expense. Under the requirements the standard for membership has been expanded to include a review of felony convictions of the company’s owners, officers or majority stockholders. Companies must also be in good standing with the BBB, PUC and other state consumer protection agencies.
An easily-identifiable ProMover logo is a symbol of quality, giving consumers the confidence and comfort of knowing that their belongings will be packed, transported and delivered in compliance with all state regulations and honest business principles. Be aware that only moving companies that have met these high standards can utilize the ProMover logo.
